Example 1:

My favorite place to spend my free time is at the gym, because it allows me to release stress, gain energy and be healthy. My gym has equipment as far as the eye can see. When I walk in, I immediately feel a surge of energy equal to a nuclear bomb igniting! It makes me not only feel on top of the world, but that I can accomplish anything. Although it smells like a football player's armpit, it allows me to further recognize the effort and time spent there by all it's members. I spend two hours, all but two days a week at my favorite place. Even though relaxing on a beach sounds inviting to most, the smell, and feel of my gym, make's it my favorite place.
